This area includes the 15 municipalities of the Province of Salerno that belong to the Vallo di Diano Mountain Community: Atena Lucana, Buonabitacolo, Casalbuono, Monte San Giacomo, Montesano S.M., Padula, Pertosa, Polla, Sala Consilina, San Pietro al Tanagro, San Rufo, Sant’Arsenio, Sanza, Sassano and Teggiano.
Promotion of the area
Initiatives have been set up to promote the economic and social development of Vallo di Diano, with the aim of providing the area with a structure capable of supporting micro-enterprise, particularly by women and the young, of promoting diversification and integration among different local productions, in a systematic and cooperative way, improving the attraction and conservation of the environment and strengthening local cultural identity.
